Position Summary: Overall project leader, leading teams and managing execution to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery at YPF. Key Highlights: 1. Supervise and monitor procurement activities **What will be your challenge?** Serve as the overall project leader. Lead the Project Team. Plan and manage project execution, lead necessary actions, and oversee projects across all phases to ensure achievement of schedule, cost, and quality objectives. **What will be your key responsibilities?** * Lead required activities for project implementation, including preparation of work proposals, contracting and procurement management, risk identification and mitigation, etc. * Define, lead, and coordinate the Project Execution Plan related to business development to ensure alignment with YPF’s defined strategy, contributing to implementation that meets operational requirements and current best practices for the company, while coordinating all involved resources. * Coordinate the estimation process and validate investment estimates for all project phases prior to submission to the client, providing required information for cost and schedule estimation. * Propose opportunities to improve contractual relationships and intervene in any disputes that may arise. * Administer, evaluate, and negotiate changes to the original project scope and conditions—both with clients and with suppliers and contractors—to secure optimal benefits and timelines compatible with such changes. * Manage interpersonal relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders to support communication of shared project objectives, preparing agreed-upon progress reports for sponsors to facilitate informed decision-making. * Coordinate project plans with involved departments and manage budget and resources for project execution, supporting achievement of defined milestones. * Coordinate stakeholder participation to ensure proper definition of project scope, thereby guaranteeing fulfillment of all requirements by each project stakeholder. * Manage available human and material resources to expedite project-related activities and avoid schedule deviations. Maintain updated project portfolio schedules and key milestones. * Monitor and control the critical path across all project phases, taking all necessary actions to ensure adherence to the planned timeline, while upholding safety and environmental protection throughout the project lifecycle. * Supervise and monitor procurement activities: track all stages of procurement requests—from technical specifications and bidding through purchase order issuance and delivery dates. * Review and validate monthly project certification documents. * Generate and provide progress reports for each project in which you participate **Position Requirements** **Work Location:** Torre Puerto Madero **Willingness to Travel:** Yes **Candidate Profile** * Engineer with education and experience in Oil & Gas project management, to serve as Project Manager for a major Downstream project. * Training in PMI or PM Agile (preferred) * Microsoft Office suite * MS Project * Minimum five years of professional experience in similar roles * Prior involvement in engineering projects (conceptual, basic, and/or extended basic) * Prior involvement in industrial plant execution projects (preferably refineries) with budgets exceeding USD 20 million * Proficiency in English * Direct reporting to the Project Manager
