This opportunity is located in Capital Federal, Argentina. **The Role** Wood is seeking a **Senior Process Engineer** with over 8 years of experience. The position will be based in Capital Federal, Argentina. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Requirements:** * University degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. * Valid professional registration. * Technically competent in their own discipline and committed to continuous professional development of skills and knowledge aligned with standards. * Professional knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation; and proficiency with tools such as Aspen Hysys, Pipephase, AFT IMPULSE, OLGA. * Ability to supervise, manage, motivate, and mentor technical professionals. * Multidisciplinary knowledge, as well as advanced engineering principles and techniques, plus required quality management standards and practices. * Recognized as a technical expert capable of developing and guiding junior staff. * Ability to execute and supervise project scope, budget, and schedule. * Consistently demonstrates creativity and innovation when identifying solutions and alternatives to address complex client requirements. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills to conduct interdepartmental and external company interactions. * Ability to diagnose and resolve significant and unusual problems, and generate substantial improvements in practices and procedures. * Agile, with capacity to adapt and solve problems. * Ability to broadly interpret principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialty. * Possesses sound knowledge of various Business Units, Functions, Sectors, and services offered within the business area, a general understanding of other Wood commercial offerings, and some ability to build networks and connect internal stakeholders. * Possesses deep understanding of Wood’s commercial positioning and business objectives, and is able to implement recommended improvements toward those objectives.
