We are looking for a **Senior BI Developer** with strong SQL expertise and experience building business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate has hands\-on experience with **Tableau** (preferred), although experience with other modern BI/reporting tools will also be considered. This role is focused on transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights through robust data models, interactive dashboards, and high\-quality reporting that supports data\-driven decision\-making across the organization. #### **What You'll Be Doing** Reporting to the **VP, Data Science \& Analytics**, you will design and develop scalable BI solutions, write advanced SQL queries, build interactive dashboards, and partner with cross\-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. You'll ensure data quality, optimize reporting performance, and help stakeholders make informed business decisions through accurate and impactful analytics. #### **Business Intelligence \& Data Modeling** * Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries using **AWS Redshift**. * Design and maintain data models that support self\-service analytics. * Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. * Deliver ad\-hoc analyses that support operational and executive decision\-making. * Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. #### **Dashboard Development \& Reporting** * Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using **Tableau** (or equivalent BI tools). * Create intuitive visualizations that communicate complex healthcare metrics to both technical and non\-technical audiences. * Optimize existing dashboards for usability and performance. * Develop standardized reporting solutions for recurring business needs. #### **Data Quality** * Identify data inconsistencies and collaborate with the Data Engineering team to resolve them. * Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting methodologies. * Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data. #### **Collaboration \& Mentorship** * Work closely with cross\-functional teams across product, engineering, analytics, and operations. * Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge\-sharing initiatives. #### **Technical Skills** * Advanced SQL skills with **3\+ years** of experience working with cloud data warehouses (**AWS Redshift preferred**). * **2\+ years** of experience with **Tableau**, including dashboard development and performance optimization. * Experience with other BI/reporting tools will also be considered. * Experience using **GitHub** for source control. * Exposure to Linux scripting and automation is considered an asset. #### **Analytical Skills** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions. * Experience performing root cause analysis and providing data\-driven recommendations. #### **Adaptability** * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment. * Strong organizational and time\-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. #### **Healthcare Experience** * Experience working with a US\-based product team is preferred. * Experience with healthcare data and an understanding of privacy regulations and patient safety considerations is an asset. #### **Communication** * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Experience using project management tools such as **Jira**. ### **What we offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * 23 days of paid leave. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A collaborative work environment with talented and dedicated colleagues. *We offer a supportive work environment where your ideas are heard and your contributions make a real difference.
