




Job Summary: We are seeking an Electronic/Automation Technician or Engineer with a problem-solving mindset and autonomy to lead the automation of industrial machinery. Key Highlights: 1. We are a leading metallurgical company specializing in the manufacturing of machinery for the empanada lid industry and the broader food sector. We are currently undergoing professionalization and expansion, and therefore establishing our own internal Automation Department. We seek an Electronic Technician or Electronics/Automation Engineer (graduated or advanced student) with strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and hands-on experience, capable of managing the end-to-end automation of our machines. What will be your main responsibilities? Loading pre-established programs into electronic components. Interpretation, modification, and design of industrial electrical schematics (EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical). Physical assembly and wiring of power and control electrical panels (workshop-based). Programming and modification of PLCs and HMI screens according to the universal IEC 61131-3 standard (Ladder Logic / Structured Text). Parameterization of variable-frequency drives and servo drives/servo motors for cut synchronization. Commissioning of machines (conveyor belts, formers, rolling mill lines) at our plant. Management and control of the electrical components warehouse, as well as technical coordination with procurement. Mandatory Requirements: Minimum verifiable experience of 3 years in industrial panel assembly and PLC/HMI programming (exclusive proficiency in Schneider Electric platforms: TM221, TM241, etc.). Solid technical knowledge of motor control, power, and switching components. Residence in Bernal, Quilmes, or nearby areas (Southern Greater Buenos Aires Area). Ability to work autonomously and build the department from scratch. Desirable (not mandatory): Valid driver’s license. Knowledge and versatility in programming Siemens equipment (TIA Portal) and Delta Electronics. Prior experience automating high-speed machinery for the food industry. What do we offer?
