We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Tortuguitas. Your mission will be to ensure that every component and process meets the highest standards of safety and technical excellence demanded by the global market.
Your primary focus will be defect prevention and strict compliance with applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Core Tools Management: Develop and maintain critical documentation such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
Process Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PPM, Scrap, and Rework.
Problem Resolution: Lead root cause analysis in response to customer complaints or internal failures.
Statistical Process Control: Implement SPC analysis to ensure process stability and capability.
Audits and Suppliers: Conduct process audits and collaborate on evaluating the quality of incoming materials.
What Are We Looking For?
For this role, we require a strong technical profile with excellent analytical capabilities:
Education: Graduates in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Certification in Quality Management Systems is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in automotive manufacturing plants.
Technical Knowledge: Expert-level proficiency in Core Tools and in-depth knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 standard.
Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using ERP systems.
