Duties include preventive maintenance of the vehicle, documentation management (delivery notes/route sheets), loading/unloading of goods, and customer service, ensuring the integrity of transported items Driving and Safety: Operate the vehicle in compliance with national and provincial traffic laws, speed limits, and road signs. Logistics and Loading: Load, unload, and secure cargo for transportation. Verify documentation (delivery notes, invoices, waybills). Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip technical inspections of the vehicle (brakes, lights, tires), cleaning, and basic maintenance. Route Management: Plan routes, meet delivery deadlines, and promptly report detours, incidents, or delays to the base. Administration: Record mileage, fuel consumption, lubricant usage, and submit daily expense vouchers.
