Preventive vehicle maintenance and route management Responsible for the safe operation of vehicles, strictly adhering to traffic regulations, schedules, and routes. Duties include preventive maintenance of the vehicle, documentation management (delivery notes/route sheets), loading/unloading of goods, and customer service, ensuring the integrity of transported items Driving and Safety: Operate the vehicle in compliance with national and provincial traffic laws, speed limits, and road signs. Logistics and Loading: Load, unload, and secure cargo for transportation. Verify documentation (delivery notes, invoices, waybills). Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip technical inspections of the vehicle (brakes, lights, tires), cleaning, and basic maintenance. Route Management: Plan routes, meet delivery deadlines, and promptly report detours, incidents, or delays to the base. Administration: Record mileage, fuel consumption, lubricant usage, and submit daily expense vouchers.
