A prominent company in the logistics and transportation sector seeks an Operations Manager for its Neuquén branch.
Your Mission:
To control and coordinate cargo operations at the branch’s platforms to ensure compliance with the organization’s established objectives, local distribution, and commitments to customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop weekly scheduling and coordinate with the warehouse administrative area (traffic) regarding merchandise intake and dispatch, as well as proper cargo stowage at the branch for delivery, monitoring cost evolution and established service indicators.
Coordinate and assign units for complete equipment deliveries.
Evaluate and analyze cargo content based on volume, materials, and shape, and supervise cargo compatibility—including vehicle condition.
Control and supervise operational and inter-regional supervisors.
Establish communication with union delegates.
Communicate all updates regarding absenteeism and general personnel administration.
Required Skills and/or Competencies:
Knowledge of cargo loading/unloading (Cross Docking, Stock Control); knowledge of cargo compatibility (liquids, foodstuffs, hazardous materials).
Familiarity with provincial and national transportation legislation (e.g., explosive loads).
Knowledge of toxic cargo, classification groups, and spill response procedures.
Understanding of branch-specific challenges and ability to address their operational needs accordingly.
Experience in logistics, cargo transportation, large-scale warehouses, handling special operations (oversized loads), and methods and techniques for load securing.
Leadership and management of heterogeneous work teams.
Essential Requirements:
Personal mobility with valid driver’s license.
Minimum 4 years of B2B commercial experience.
Willingness to travel.

· Work arrangement: 100% on-site
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00 hrs; Saturday, 8:00–12:00 hrs.
