Opportunity for continuous professional development within a committed team ***Mechanical Engineer – Multinational Chemical Industry*** Industrial Park Pilar, Buenos Aires \| Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (\+ availability for emergencies and shutdowns) We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the maintenance team of a leading global multinational chemical company. The position targets professionals with strong technical vocation seeking to work in high-complexity, continuous-process industrial plants. **Main Responsibilities:** Ensure plant equipment and production process availability and reliability targets. Coordinate and execute preventive, predictive, and plant shutdown maintenance programs per corporate procedures. Coordinate mechanical work with internal staff and contractors, leading activities to ensure application and compliance with corporate safety standards. Manage scheduling and execution of corrective maintenance via the company’s computerized system. Define and ensure mechanical spare parts policies to support production targets. Implement updates to applicable corporate or governmental regulations. Execute, guide, and supervise precision mechanical work—performed internally or by third parties—under strict safety standards. **Requirements:** Academic Qualification: University graduate in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). Required Experience: Minimum 3 years in industrial production-process companies. Required Technical Knowledge: Compressor maintenance (reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal). Maintenance of various pump types, piping, and valves. Welding knowledge and usage (electric, oxy-fuel, and/or TIG). Metrology applied to industrial maintenance. **Additional Knowledge:** Intermediate English proficiency. Basic Portuguese proficiency (desirable). Valid driver’s license.
