We are seeking an Interior Repair Technician to perform operational tasks related to the repair and conditioning of automotive interiors, ensuring quality and safety standards.

We are currently looking for an Interior Repair Technician to join our plant team.
Position Purpose
To perform operational tasks related to the repair, conditioning, and finishing of automotive interiors, ensuring proper intervention on plastic parts, panels, upholstery, and interior components, while complying with the quality, aesthetic, and safety standards established by the company and automotive OEMs.
· Responsibilities
Perform automotive interior repairs: panels, upholstery, trim, headliners, consoles, plastic parts, and aesthetic components.
Carry out sanding, filling, polishing, thermoforming, fitting, and adjustment tasks according to technical procedures.
Replace, reinstall, or recondition damaged or non-conforming interior parts.
Use hand and power tools: sanders, heat guns, cutters, drills, among others.
Interpret work orders and repair criteria established by the customer and internal processes.
Conduct final quality control of repaired interiors, verifying fit, aesthetics, and functionality.
Record performed interventions in worksheets or systems (desirable).
Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
Comply with industrial safety regulations and correct use of PPE.
Collaborate with production, rework, and quality teams on additional tasks as required by plant needs.
· Position Requirements
Education
Completed secondary education (technical, automotive, or related orientation desirable).
Experience
Proven experience in automotive interior repair, rework, finishing, or vehicle aesthetics.
Experience with sanding, polishing, filling, fitting, and reconditioning of parts.
Knowledge of plastic materials, upholstery, and interior moldings (valued).
Prior experience at automotive OEMs, auto parts suppliers, specialized workshops, or PDI (highly valued).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Basic PC skills (valued).
