Are you ready to start? With us, you can. **About this opportunity:** At **WSP Argentina**, we are seeking a **Senior Hydrogeologist** to join our Water team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technically complex hydrogeological studies applied to the mining industry, both in field and office settings. The role focuses on aquifer characterization, assessment of groundwater sources, analysis of mine\-aquifer interaction, and water quality management, ensuring robust technical solutions for large-scale mining projects. **Responsibilities:** * Lead hydrogeological studies across all stages: design, execution, and analysis. * Actively participate in mining projects involving drilling campaigns, hydraulic testing, and groundwater monitoring. * Develop and validate conceptual and numerical hydrogeological models (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, PHREEQC). * Assess open-pit dewatering, tailings dams, waste dumps, and other operational facilities. * Provide technical support in design processes, environmental assessments, and mining operations. * Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients, authorities, and communities. * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water-related permits. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and lead stakeholder engagement (communities, environmental authorities). **Requirements:** **Education:** * Professional degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field. * Postgraduate degree in Hydrogeology (preferably master’s or specialization). **Experience:** * Minimum 12 years in hydrogeological studies applied to mining. * Experience in large-scale and technically complex projects. **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in hydrogeological modeling tools (Leapfrog, Aquifertest). * Advanced knowledge of numerical modeling (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, PHREEQC). * Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS). * Knowledge of environmental regulations and water permits. * Desirable experience in community and environmental authority engagement. **What we offer:** * In-person work \- flexible hours * Base salary adjustment according to inflation (CPI) every 3 months. * Medical coverage for employee and immediate family * Healthy breakfast (twice a week) * Incentive for physical activity * Training according to budget availability * Climate surveys four times a year. * Be part of a multinational company with high quality standards and growth potential. * Opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary and multi-sector projects at national, regional, and global levels. \#LI\-VVB \#Argentina **Primary Location** AR\-M\-Mendoza**Schedule** Full\-time**Employee Status** Regular**Experience (Minimum Yrs.)** 12**Job Posting** Dec 2, 2025, 4:18:23 PM
