Job Summary: We are seeking a bilingual professional to serve as a communication liaison between leadership, executive teams, and field operational units, providing verbal interpretation and written translation. Translation of technical, legal, and environmental documents We are currently seeking a Mandarin Chinese–Spanish Translator and Interpreter. We seek a bilingual professional to act as a communication bridge between leadership, executive teams, and field operational units. Main Responsibilities * **Interpretation:** Provide real-time verbal interpretation (simultaneous and consecutive) between Mandarin and Spanish during executive meetings, site visits, and field technical discussions. * **Written translation:** Translate technical, legal, contractual, drilling reports, environmental and social (ESG) topics, correspondence, and presentations. * **Executive and intercultural support:** Serve as a communication bridge between management and local teams, supporting the drafting of bilingual communications and contextual interpretation. * **On-site support:** Regularly travel to the Cascabel Project site to accompany technical teams, meetings with contractors and consultants, and field operational inspections. Job Requirements * **Languages:** Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish (mandatory). * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of professional experience in translation and interpretation (Mandarin–Spanish). * **Education:** University degree in Translation, Languages, Business, Engineering, or related fields. * **Technical knowledge:** Familiarity with or solid knowledge of terminology related to mining, engineering, construction, legal aspects, and ESG frameworks. (Desirable but not mandatory). * **Availability:** Willingness to travel to operational / remote areas and flexibility for field work. Key Competencies * High accuracy in simultaneous and consecutive verbal interpretation. * Discretion and handling of confidentiality in executive-level meetings. * Intercultural communication skills.
