Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Workshop Manager to lead an operational team, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety in a heavy mechanical workshop. Key Highlights: 1. Lead an operational team of 16–18 people in the workshop. 2. Ensure repair quality and compliance with safety standards. 3. Serve as the technical reference for repair methods. A leading logistics services company is looking for a Senior Workshop Manager for its operational base in the Zárate area. The primary objective of this position is to lead the operational team, ensuring productivity, repair quality, and compliance with corporate safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and organize the workshop’s operational staff, managing a team of approximately 16 to 18 people. • Ensure work quality during repairs and provide final approval (OK). • Guarantee accurate recording and traceability of tasks in the workshop management system. • Supervise tool inventory and safeguard company assets. • Serve as the technical reference for staff on repair methods. • Implement and enforce physical and corporate safety standards. Candidate Requirements: • Education: Mechanical or Metallurgical Technician (preferred), or Mechanical Engineer. • Mandatory Experience: Proven prior experience in supervisory and leadership roles within heavy mechanical and/or metallurgical workshops. • Competencies: Leadership, ability to work under pressure, personal organization, and strong orientation toward safety and quality. • Residence: Preferably in the Zárate or Campana areas, or within a 50 km radius. • Mobility: Personal transportation is required. • Computer Skills: Basic PC and Excel proficiency. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing unionized personnel, interacting with union delegates, and analyzing repair costs or repair times.-Requirements- Minimum Education: Tertiary 2 years of experience Age: between 30 and 50 years Knowledge: Team management, Personnel management, General mechanics, Microsoft Excel Keywords: leader, manager, supervisor, manager, director, chief, lead, supervision, head
