Job Summary: We are seeking a Traffic Supervisor to oversee transportation activities, manage team members, and ensure customer satisfaction by resolving operational incidents. Key Highlights: 1. Manages transportation activities and satellite fleet tracking. 2. Controls personnel, coordinates maintenance, and manages labor union relations. 3. Monitors service indicators and fuel consumption. Job Purpose We seek a Traffic Supervisor responsible for supervising and continuously monitoring transportation activities and team members, ensuring normal service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of routes, restrictions, and operational requirements to efficiently resolve daily incidents. · Main Responsibilities · Operational Management: Monitor the daily schedule and ensure proper administration within the TMS (Transportation Management System). Fleet Control: Supervise adherence to schedules (departure, transit, arrival, and unloading) via satellite tracking. Personnel Management: Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance of drivers and assistants, identifying training needs. Maintenance and Resources: Coordinate necessary repairs with the workshop and control efficient use of fuel and tools. Labor Union Relations: Handle labor-related matters and maintain smooth communication with union delegates or representatives. Reporting and Indicators: Monitor average fuel consumption, service compliance, and incident resolution. · Profile Requirements Education: Completed secondary education (mandatory). Technical degree in Logistics is preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years coordinating or organizing transportation, preferably in mass-consumption sectors. Specific Knowledge: Proven experience in labor union management (truckers’ collective agreement). Technical Competencies: Administrative process management, current transportation regulations, and knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
