Lead the planning and execution of monitoring, waste management, field campaigns, services, and environmental projects, promoting safe, efficient, sustainable, and continuously improving operations. **Key Responsibilities:** ================================== * Supervise and ensure on-site environmental management compliance through inspections, monitoring, sampling, and tracking of commitments, deviations, and corrective actions. * Coordinate environmental campaigns and studies, including supervision of consultants, laboratories, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical, environmental, and safety requirements. * Manage operational and logistical activities of the department, including supplies, resources, waste management, and coordination of joint initiatives with other departments. * Lead and supervise field services and work, promoting compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational excellence standards. * Develop and update procedures, management plans, records, reports, and performance indicators, ensuring information traceability. * Coordinate training and awareness activities, promoting compliance with corporate standards, prevention, and continuous improvement. * Participate in budget, cost, and resource planning and control for the department. * Periodically report progress, results, deviations, risks, and operational needs to Department Head or Superintendent. * Maintain ongoing interaction with internal and external customers, as well as various operational and support departments. * This position maintains ongoing interaction with internal and external customers, as well as operational and support departments. **Requirements** ============== * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related fields (e.g., B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences; B.Sc. in Biology; B.Eng. in Natural Resources and Environment, or equivalent). * Minimum of **4 years’ experience in similar roles**, preferably in mining, industry, energy, or related sectors. * Experience in coordinating and supervising environmental contractors and services; environmental monitoring; and fieldwork. * Knowledge of: applicable environmental legislation and regulations; preparation and interpretation of environmental reports and assessments; Environmental Management Systems; project management. * Tools for continuous improvement and operational excellence. * Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level). * Advanced proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). * We seek a candidate with strong field leadership capabilities, results orientation, proactivity, and initiative to drive and manage operational challenges.
