Providing guidance to families and supporting participants At the Francoise Dolto Special Education Institute, we are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our professional staff, with experience in the field of disability. This vacancy is for 10 to 15 hours per week at our Day Center, working with youth and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Mandatory requirements include holding a provincial license and being registered in the National Provider Registry. Responsibilities: • Group workshops tailored to participants’ characteristics • Prescribing equipment • Supervising ADLs within the institution • Guiding families, maintaining effective communication, and supporting participants in a dual (virtual/in-person) modality • Preparing individual reports for each participant, submitted quarterly. Treatment plan objectives are established, and reports are prepared in March, July, and December • Submitting an annual work plan that must be implemented according to various initiatives: workshops, training sessions, and activities with parents. -Requirements- Minimum education: University degree 1 year of experience
