**Tecpetrol** is seeking an **E\&P Data Management Sr. Engineer** for its offices in Buenos Aires.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement Data Management processes, standards, and controls across various E\&P domains.
* Support business domain leads in applying the federated data governance model.
* Identify and document data sources, flows, applications, interfaces, consumers, and data owners.
* Identify, catalog, and document information assets relevant to the business.
* Maintain up-to-date data catalogs, business glossaries, and functional and technical metadata.
* Document data traceability from origin to consumption.
* Define and implement data quality rules, metrics, and controls.
* Develop and maintain data quality scorecards and indicators.
* Detect, log, and track incidents related to data quality, availability, or consistency.
* Coordinate with business and technology teams to resolve data-related issues.
* Participate in the design, development, documentation, and evolution of Data Products.
* Verify compliance with quality, ownership, documentation, and traceability standards for Data Products.
* Support identification and classification of critical data and information assets.
* Maintain relationships among business processes, applications, interfaces, data, and information products.
* Participate in maturity assessments and improvement plans for various domains.
* Prepare reports, dashboards, and indicators on progress, adoption, quality, and coverage.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Oil \& Gas, energy, process industries, or industrial environments.
* At least 2 years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or information management.
* Knowledge of Exploration and Production (E&P) processes, particularly Production, Operations, Reservoirs, Geology, Drilling, or Completions.
* Understanding of data governance roles, including Data Owner, Data Steward, and Data Custodian.
* Experience in data, process, application, and interface discovery, modeling, and documentation.
* Knowledge of metadata, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data lineage.
* Experience in defining and monitoring data quality rules and indicators.
* Proficiency in SQL and ability to analyze, validate, and profile datasets.
* Experience with visualization and analytics tools, preferably Power BI or equivalents.
* Knowledge of data platforms, databases, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and information integration.
* Experience with data governance, catalog, quality, or observability tools is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of cloud architectures, data lakes, lakehouses, and analytical platforms is highly desirable.
