Job Summary: We are seeking orderlies to transport patients to various therapeutic areas, collaborating with nursing staff and ensuring appropriate equipment is available. Key Responsibilities: 1. Transporting patients to therapeutic and rehabilitation areas. 2. Actively collaborating with nursing staff in patient repositioning. 3. Managing and verifying patient transport equipment. We are currently recruiting Orderlies to transport patients to different therapeutic areas. What challenges and tasks will you perform? · Assign wheelchairs to patients upon prior authorization. · Ensure wheelchair availability and notify supervisors of shortages or repair needs. · Collaborate with nursing staff in patient repositioning. · Assist patients in transferring from bed to wheelchair and to commode chair. · Transport patients to the gym for rehabilitation activities and to various therapies. · Escort new patients to their assigned floor. · Verify that patients are transported with the appropriate equipment. · Update gym, occupational therapy, and speech therapy schedules on bulletin boards across all floors. · Ensure the elevator is hygienic and decontaminated. · Inspect wheelchair equipment assigned to each patient. What are we looking for? · Completed secondary education (mandatory) VACANCY: Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM One day off per week and every other weekend off.
