Job Summary: Siemens Energy is seeking an Electrical/Electromechanical/Electronic Engineer with experience in high-voltage substation projects to provide technical support and project leadership. Be part of a multicultural and innovative team. **Your Typical Day** You will join the Grid Solutions Engineering team, South America Sub-region, based in Argentina, supporting the team by participating in high-voltage substation solution modeling activities, reviewing technical documentation within your professional area, providing technical review support to other organizational areas, and engaging in other activities undertaken by the Engineering team. **Your Responsibilities** * Technically lead transmission sector projects. * Participate in detailed design of high-, medium-, and low-voltage projects. * Review and coordinate supplier design document reviews to ensure compliance with design requirements. * Report progress and changes to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager. * Support 3D modeling of components for inclusion in high- and extra-high-voltage substation solutions. * Support the business unit’s bidding team in quantity take-offs and RFQ document generation. * Support the product team in reviewing high-voltage equipment technical documentation. * Support development of engineering execution procedures under BIM methodology. * Site surveys for data collection and technical support to field personnel. **Requirements for the Position** * Degree in Electrical/Electromechanical/Electronic Engineering. * Minimum 10 years’ prior experience in high- and extra-high-voltage transformer substation project development. * Experience in engineering supervision. * Proficiency in English is desirable. * Proficiency in design/drafting software. * Microsoft Office. * Proactive, strong communication skills, responsible, and eager to learn about the business. **About the Team** We are a highly committed, multicultural team focused on achieving our company’s objectives and fulfilling the requirements of our internal and external customers—on time and with quality.
