This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, within the EPD division.

Our broad portfolio of high-quality, branded generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women’s health, cardiometabolic, pain management / central nervous system, and respiratory.
As a **Manufacturing Engineer**, you will be responsible for providing technical, operational, and financial support to the plant’s production areas, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality-, productivity-, and profitability-aligned operations. You will analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and participate in implementing initiatives aimed at optimizing resources and outcomes.
You will be responsible for tracking production, efficiency, and cost indicators, performing deviation analysis, evaluating production orders, and generating key information for decision-making. Additionally, you will participate in defining and updating production standards, manufacturing routings, and bills of materials (BOMs), contributing to financial planning and cost control of operations.
You will work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, driving continuous improvement, productivity, and cost-saving projects. You will also collaborate on regulatory compliance activities, change management, technical documentation, and training, supporting the plant’s sustainable and competitive development.
**What You’ll Do**
* Monitor and analyze production, productivity, efficiency, OEE, and resource utilization indicators, identifying deviations and proposing improvement actions.
* Close and analyze production orders, evaluating material consumption, yields, labor, and associated costs.
* Generate management reports and information to support decision-making for Production, Finance, and Planning teams.
* Ensure compliance with procedures, quality regulations, statutory requirements, safety and environmental standards, and corporate policies.
* Manage production documentation, operating procedures, manufacturing instructions, and Management of Change (MoC) processes.
* Coordinate and administer staff training, identifying training needs and promoting competency development.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing processes, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.
* Define and update production standards, manufacturing routings (Routings), and bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
* Collaborate on budget preparation, financial analysis, savings projections, and cost control for the area.
* Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive improvements and ensure achievement of operational objectives.
* Manage purchase requisitions and coordinate suppliers for executing plant-based work and projects.
* Maintain up-to-date control boards, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track results and goal attainment.
**Required Qualifications**
* **Education:** Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Pharmaceutical Engineer, or related field.
* **Specific Knowledge:** Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate Excel, Power BI, Intermediate English (mandatory).
* **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or continuous improvement. Must possess knowledge of Quality regulations and standards affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
