Our client is reshaping its approach to insurance technology, shifting away from outdated systems toward cutting\-edge, Agentic AI\-driven solutions. You'll become part of an international team focused on developing smart systems capable of automating intricate insurance processes, freeing up brokers to concentrate on high\-value decisions and stronger client partnerships. **Responsibilities** * Spot valuable opportunities to introduce AI across various functions within Insurance Broking * Architect, build, and launch production\-ready AI systems designed to streamline intricate insurance processes * Develop AI\-driven applications using LLMs, RAG, document processing, data extraction, classification techniques, and agent\-based frameworks * Work hand\-in\-hand with brokers, underwriters, and operations staff to grasp business pain points and craft scalable AI\-based solutions * Take full accountability for the product journey, spanning ideation, prototyping, launch, ongoing monitoring, and iterative refinement * Build comprehensive AI evaluation systems covering testing, performance tracking, monitoring, and detection of hallucinations * Lead fast\-paced experimentation and foster innovation by applying current AI engineering methodologies * Boost operational output, shorten processing times, and enhance overall business efficiency through smart automation * Guide and support fellow engineers while championing sound practices for developing dependable AI systems * Investigate and integrate cutting\-edge AI advancements to address challenges specific to the insurance sector **Requirements** * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent hands\-on experience * At least 3 years of applicable background in Software Engineering, AI/ML, Machine Learning, or closely related areas * Solid command of Python and TypeScript * Track record of taking AI\-based products from initial concept through to full production * Practical experience working with machine learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs) * Familiarity with contemporary software engineering approaches, such as CI/CD and containerization * Sharp analytical thinking, strong problem\-solving ability, and effective communication skills * Capacity to break down technical topics in a way that resonates with business\-side stakeholders * Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher) **Nice to have** * Exposure to (Re)Insurance Underwriting Operations to strengthen understanding of sector\-specific processes * Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly from a security standpoint, to enable secure and repeatable environment setup * Prior experience within the Insurance sector to add valuable context to AI solution development * Hands\-on work with Monitoring and Observability tooling to maintain visibility into production system performance * Experience in a Technical Leadership capacity, guiding teams and shaping engineering strategy **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
