Expand and harden a metadata platform across AWS We are building secure, scalable automation that discovers operational data sources and connects them to DataHub across a large multi\-account AWS environment. As a **Lead Platform Engineer**, you will partner with Cloud Governance, Information Security, and Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver reliable metadata integrations and observability at scale. Apply now to help expand and harden this metadata platform. **Responsibilities** * Build and run automation that discovers operational data sources and registers them in DataHub * Collaborate with the DataHub Forward Deployed Engineer and internal groups such as Cloud Governance and Information Security * Design and maintain infrastructure for DataHub integration systems, including Remote Executors, cross\-account IAM access patterns, and credential management * Execute the integration rollout across database platforms, starting with MongoDB, then DynamoDB, then relational databases such as RDS and PostgreSQL * Establish assurance that integrations are complete across every supported database platform * Partner with Tech Services, Cloud Governance, Substrate/platform teams, and security engineering to clear infrastructure dependencies involving networking, IAM, secrets, and deployment pipelines * Improve the reliability and observability of the integration pipeline as it grows to cover the majority of the client's operational databases * Integrate DataHub with additional metadata sources, including application inventory systems * Generate metrics and actionable insights from DataHub metadata * Create DataHub automations for asset tagging, notifications, and policy enforcement **Requirements** * Proven track record with 5\+ years of platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a closely related discipline * Deep expertise in AWS IAM, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Web Services * Hands\-on proficiency with DataHub * Practical familiarity with Gen AI Assisted Development * Working knowledge of MongoDB * English proficiency at B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) level or higher **Nice to have** * Familiarity with GitHub Actions * Knowledge of Terraform **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
