Job Summary: The Control Room Operator monitors and manages operations, alarms, and emergencies, coordinates with field teams, and optimizes processes to ensure continuity and efficiency. Coordination and optimization for equipment efficiency **Business Unit:** Latin America Operations **Location:** Buenos Aires, AR, C1107AAD **\#job\-location.job\-location\-inline { display:** inline; } **Travel:** None **Req ID:** 4240 Control Room Operator Position Summary The position will be responsible for monitoring and controlling operations, detecting and managing alarms, coordinating actions with field personnel, and contributing to the continuity, safety, and efficiency of operational processes. Key Responsibilities and Tasks **Variable Control:** tracking, monitoring, and trend analysis. Real-time monitoring of operational variables. **Trend Diagnosis:** analysis of operational parameter curves to detect, analyze, and manage anomalies early, preventing potential failures. **Alarm and Emergency Management:** prioritization of alerts (classification and immediate response to critical alarms); management of emergency shutdowns (activation of equipment isolation protocols for unplanned events). **Operational Coordination with Field Teams:** continuous communication to execute coordinated operational maneuvers and resolve deviations. **Operational Optimization:** adjustment of operational parameters to maximize equipment efficiency and performance. Control of expected production. **Recording operational events and preparing shift reports:** completing and maintaining up-to-date documentation associated with equipment and plant operations. Developing indicators, creating visuals or displays. Analyzing process trends. Providing support to production and maintenance teams. Requirements Technical education. More than 5 years of experience in this or similar positions. (Mandatory) Knowledge of SCADA / HMI / OT / Industrial Networks. Knowledge of process variables. Knowledge of compression and power generation equipment. Knowledge of PI Vision / PI Framework. (Mandatory) **Interpretation of technical diagrams:** P&ID Process Flow Diagrams (PFD). (Mandatory) Analytical thinking, proactivity, dynamism. Problem-solving and response capability; decision-making. Attention to detail. Effective communication.
