Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable solutions We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to contribute to a GCP\-based data platform initiative. This role centers on developing and maintaining data pipelines and analytics infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, helping build a scalable and reliable data ecosystem that drives reporting and analytics across the company. **Responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain data pipelines leveraging Dataflow on GCP * Develop and fine\-tune data models and queries within BigQuery * Create and maintain reporting and analytics layers with Looker (or comparable BI tooling) * Contribute to the design and ongoing evolution of the wider GCP Data Platform * Apply data governance best practices, covering access controls, data quality, lineage, and documentation across pipelines and datasets * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to convert data requirements into scalable technical solutions * Monitor and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance and reliability **Requirements** * 3\+ years of hands\-on experience in data engineering * Understanding of GCP\-based data platform architecture * Proficiency in BigQuery, covering schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning * Expertise in Dataflow for developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines * Familiarity with Looker or comparable BI/analytics tooling * Skills in SQL and knowledge of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling) * Fluent Spanish speaker with English at B2 level to support team collaboration **Nice to have** * Background in data governance practices, spanning access management, data cataloging, and lineage * Familiarity with compliance considerations relevant to data platforms **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
