You'll work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance across a multi\-region environment. This role requires strong ownership, problem\-solving, and the ability to operate in a fast\-paced, production\-critical environment. You will: * Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), ensuring scalability and maintainability. * Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for high availability and fault tolerance. * Provision, maintain, and upgrade AWS services including RDS, networking, compute, and storage components. * Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability. * Oversee and maintain GitLab infrastructure and engineering workflows. * Collaborate with security and legal teams to support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.). * Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and other observability platforms. * Implement strong alerting, monitoring, and incident response processes. * Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis, ensuring long\-term fixes are implemented. * Participate in architecture design, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies. * Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure standards. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high\-performing DevOps culture. ✅ **What You'll Need:** * 5\+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles. * Strong experience with AWS, especially in multi\-region environments. * Hands\-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. * Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration. * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. * Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability systems. * Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps platforms. * Knowledge of IAM, VPC design, networking, and cloud security best practices. * Experience working in regulated or compliance\-driven environments. * Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar). * Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to handle production incidents. * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross\-functionally. **Nice to Have:** * Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto environments * Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps) * Understanding of blockchain or digital assets **What We Offer:** * Monthly compensation in USD: Competitive based on experience (LATAM\-focused range). * Full\-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday). * Fully remote — work from anywhere in Latin America. * Opportunity to work on high\-scale, multi\-region infrastructure. * Collaborative environment with strong engineering leadership. * High\-impact role with real ownership over infrastructure decisions. * Note: This is an independant contractor role and does not include benefits or paid time off. **Ready to Apply?** **If you're a senior engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and working in high\-scale environments — we'd love to hear from you.** **Apply today and take your next step in a role built for ownership, impact, and growth.**
