A better future?** **About the Position** We seek an Engineering professional with customer orientation and strong technical expertise to act as a strategic liaison between plant operations, process engineering teams, and the customer. This position will play a key role in managing product and process changes, ensuring technical feasibility, adherence to timelines, and successful implementation of customer-required modifications. As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities related to quotations, technical analyses, prototype tracking, progress meetings, and implementation plans. Additionally, you will maintain ongoing interaction with internal departments—including Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management—as well as external customers, including partial on-site residency at the customer’s plant to support assembly feasibility and change management. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and achievement of key business metrics. **Key Responsibilities** Your activities will include, but not be limited to: * Supporting customers in engineering change activities, quotations, and project tracking. * Analyzing, together with Process Engineering, the technical and operational feasibility of customer-requested modifications. * Coordinating technical meetings with customers and internal teams to ensure proper execution of changes. * Implementing and monitoring action plans associated with launches, product changes, and process improvements. * Monitoring prototype and pilot production assembly feasibility activities at the customer’s facility. * Developing technical reports and executive presentations on project progress and change management. * Collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure goal attainment. * Ensuring compliance with assigned KPIs and proposing corrective actions when necessary. * Leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, costs, quality, and customer satisfaction. * Ensuring compliance with Lear’s Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety policies. **Mandatory Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** * Technician or Engineer in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Completed technical or university degree. **Professional Experience** * Prior experience in industrial or automotive environments. * Experience in change management, customer support, or process engineering. * Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and direct customer contact. **Technical Competencies** * Knowledge of production processes, manufacturing, and assembly. * Technical analysis and problem-solving capability. * Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies. * Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering specifications. **Systems Knowledge** * Proficiency in PC usage and Microsoft Office tools. * Advanced Excel skills for analysis and metric tracking. * Experience with industrial management systems is preferred.
