Wood is seeking a **Project Planning Engineer**, with over 8 years of experience. The position will be based in Capital Federal, Argentina. We are targeting a university-educated professional with strong conversational English skills and experience in preparing, reviewing, and presenting project schedules and plans to support rigorous project control throughout the project lifecycle.

* Develop and maintain planning control structures aligned with the project’s approved Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
* Develop and maintain baseline project plans and schedules using appropriate planning software.
* Monitor and control planning activities across all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction functions, as well as other relevant areas—including third parties—to stay informed on project activities, status, and their impact on schedule and labor requirements.
* Prepare and provide project plans and schedules in accordance with project reporting requirements.
* Prepare and provide project progress and performance reports in accordance with project reporting requirements.
* Generate and issue updates to project plans and schedules.
* Generate and issue updates to project labor resource requirements.
* Assess and communicate the schedule impact of change notifications.

**Expected:**
* University degree in a relevant discipline.
* Knowledge, skills, and experience:
* Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 Cloud and other planning software, as well as related tools and techniques—including logical and critical path method (CPM) analysis, resource allocation and leveling.
* Advanced knowledge of Project Execution Procedures related to planning.
* Advanced understanding of WBS and CBS structures and project reporting capabilities.
* Ability to develop project schedules and plans.
* Ability to prepare resource allocation, progress plans, and staffing plans.
* Advanced understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analysis/trend analysis, and hypothetical scenarios ("what-if").
* Detailed knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
* Good knowledge of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning and Analysis, and Risk Management.
