Today, we serve over 11 million active users—both consumers and merchants—and have become a trusted brand in Venezuela. #### **Role Summary** We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to serve as the technical leader of the Analytics Engineering team. Your primary mission will be to design and maintain the business’s Single Source of Truth (SSoT), build scalable data models, manage the data catalog, and develop the semantic layer that enables self-service analytics for Business Analysts (BAs). You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, defining development standards and optimizing data context for AI tools. #### **Responsibilities** * Data Modeling & SSoT: Design, build, and maintain clean, tested, and transformed data models within the Data Warehouse (using dbt/Dataform) as the single source of truth for the business. * Semantic Layer & Self-Service: Build the semantic layer and keep the Data Catalog up to date to ensure BAs can create dashboards and operational analyses without friction or ambiguity. * AI Context: Enrich schemas, metadata, and documentation in the repository to feed code/IA models (e.g., Claude Code or Copilots) and maximize technical self-service across the team. * Data Quality & Governance: Define and implement testing frameworks (dbt tests), alert monitoring, and observability practices to ensure data consistency across the organization. * Technical Leadership: Establish development best practices (DataOps, PR reviews, version control) and mentor other Analytics Engineers on the team. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Data Platform and Engineering teams on pipeline integrations and definition of data contracts. #### **Requirements** * Experience: 5+ years working in data environments, with at least 3 years specialized in Analytics Engineering. * Core Stack: Advanced SQL proficiency and solid hands-on experience with dbt (or Dataform) in cloud environments (GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift). * Data Modeling: Practical experience applying analytical modeling methodologies (Kimball, Star Schema, Data Vault). * Software Engineering: Version control with Git, CI/CD workflows for data (DataOps), and intermediate Python knowledge. * Governance: Experience implementing and maintaining Data Catalogs (e.g., Datahub, Atlan, dbt Docs) and semantic layers. * Soft Skills: Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical models and guide fellow engineers. #### **Why You’ll Love Working at Cashea** At Cashea, our work culture is built on trust and purpose.
