Roster 7x7\. **Role Overview** This role aims to contribute to the Carbonate sector through technical and technological analysis, chemical and process variable analysis, enabling the identification of improvement opportunities, changes, or resolution of deviations that enhance the quality and quantity of the sector’s final product. As a member of the team, your key responsibilities will include: * Serving as a technical reference with solid process knowledge to support the pursuit of efficiency, performance, usage, etc. * Collaborating as a liaison with other departments to address medium- and long-term operational, technological, quality, and safety issues. * Maintaining routine operating procedures up-to-date (optimized) and ensuring all personnel are adequately trained per PUAP \- SOP. * Leading, together with the sub-management and management, the implementation of Capex projects, as well as facilitating area improvements alongside supervision and full management of operational area MOCs. * Supporting Plant Supervision as required for operational needs. **About You** For this role, it is important that you have: * A commitment to your own safety and that of the team. * A university degree in: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering. * Experience in industrial plants, mining, or continuous processes, with exposure to production environments and participation in activities related to operation, control, and optimization of processes, maintaining close interaction with production areas. * IT tools: Microsoft Office suite; SAP and Power BI knowledge (desirable); experience using process simulators. * Analytical skills, strong planning/organizational ability, leadership in safety, and results orientation. * Intermediate English (desirable). **What We Offer** * A work environment where safety is a priority in everything we do. * A competitive remuneration package with annual incentives. * Top-tier health programs designed for families. * An Employee Assistance Program to support you when needed. * Ongoing support for your personal and professional wellbeing. * Leave entitlements for all life stages (vacations, parental leave, medical leave). **About Rio Tinto** Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
