Position Summary: A major retail company is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its Accounting and Tax team, responsible for account analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of working papers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Account and financial statement analysis 2. Bank reconciliations and posting control 3. Preparation of working papers for financial statements A leading Argentine retail company with a multi-category chain of stores headquartered in Mar del Plata. It specializes in the importation, manufacturing, and retail and wholesale distribution of household goods, home décor, leather goods, textiles, technology products, beauty accessories, and apparel. It operates 21 branches across various locations in AMBA (Greater Buenos Aires) and Buenos Aires Province. A prominent retail company is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its Accounting and Tax team in Mar del Plata. Main Responsibilities: Account and financial statement analysis Bank reconciliations and control of proper posting according to the chart of accounts Preparation of working papers for financial statement preparation, including system registration for monthly trial balance generation. Preparation of working papers, monitoring, and compliance with annual tax return deadlines (Individuals and Legal Entities) Preparation of working papers for audit responses and management of required documentation. Monitoring and recording of intercompany transactions Control of fixed assets and amortizations Control of withholdings and perceptions: ARCA SICORE, ARCA 4th Category, ARBA. Control of information contained in management reports; monitoring of report submission deadlines. Coordination with other departments to ensure data quality and contribute to continuous process improvement. Requirements: University degree in Public Accounting (mandatory). Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting firms or accounting departments of medium-sized companies. Solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations. Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP management systems; familiarity with ZEUS is a plus.
