**What Are We Looking For?**
We are currently seeking an Environmental Analyst to join our Environmental Services Traceability team. The position is based in Centenario, Neuquén, and is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations applicable to hazardous waste treatment and transportation operations.
**What Do We Value as a Differentiator?**
* Education: Bachelor’s or Advanced Technical Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field. (Mandatory)
* Knowledge:
Environmental regulations of Neuquén Province, particularly legislation on hazardous waste — Law No. 1875 and its regulatory decrees. (Mandatory)
Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency and Office tools (Word, presentations). (Mandatory)
Hazardous waste traceability management: manifests, sworn statements, and submissions to regulatory authorities. (Mandatory)
Valid professional license issued by the relevant Professional Association. (Mandatory)
Knowledge of environmental regulations from neighboring provinces (Río Negro, Mendoza, or others). (Not mandatory)
* Competencies:
Autonomy and initiative to resolve situations without constant supervision.
Proactivity regarding deadlines, renewals, and regulatory requirements.
Assertive communication to interact with operational teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Organization and attention to detail in document management.
**What Will Be Your Main Challenges?**
* Manage documentary traceability of treated and transported hazardous waste, ensuring each manifest is correctly registered and available to YPF and the regulatory authority.
* Prepare and submit sworn statements, registration renewals, and reports to Neuquén Province’s environmental regulatory agencies.
* Provide technical environmental support to supervisors, laboratory staff, and operational teams.
* Participate in environmental function audits, monitoring plans, and emergency drills and response management.
* Review and verify compliance with MAS requirements in contracts and technical proposals from contracted companies.
* Support departmental growth amid the operational expansion of the new plant under construction, adapting traceability processes to increased operational volume.
**Position Information**
* Work location: Centenario, Neuquén.
Work mode: Hybrid — 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
