Position: Administrative Assistant
A well-established family-owned retail company specializing in cheeses, cold cuts, and gourmet specialties is seeking an Administrative Assistant.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day company administration jointly with directors, addressing the needs of suppliers, customers, and employees, aiming for maximum efficiency to reduce costs and monitor company income and expenditures. Monitor business performance and oversee operational management to achieve organizational goals.
Tasks
Control incoming merchandise according to purchase orders; monitor and update pricing; enter invoices.
Supplier payments; customer collections control; current account follow-up.
Bank reconciliations; credit card settlements; electronic payment settlements (e.g., Mercado Pago).
Submission of financial information to the accounting firm for tax calculation and monitoring.
Recording of the company’s accounting transactions in the management system to enable efficient management control.
Product and supplier onboarding, offboarding, and modifications.
Submission of personnel updates to the accounting firm and monitoring of payroll settlements. Payroll and social security contributions processing.
Personnel administration: uniforms, training, administrative procedures, pay slips, document signing, recruitment, schedule planning, among others.
Facilitate communication between the sales team and company directors through active listening, conveying company values, and promoting effective communication across the entire team.
Administrative support for the public-facing retail store: signage, stationery, office supplies, window displays, access systems, alarms, computers, internet, etc.
Joint analysis of commercial performance with directors and implementation of commercial initiatives together with the sales team.
Active participation in peak-demand periods: Christmas, New Year, Father’s Day, year-end gifts, etc., as well as the company’s annual inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Orderliness and discipline.
Knowledge of accounting and business administration.
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Google Drive and Google Sheets.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Analytical skills.
Age between 25 and 40 years.
Residence: Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA).
WORK SCHEDULE AND COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
Monday to Friday: 9:00–18:00; Saturdays: 10:00–13:00.
Primary workplace: Office in Villa Crespo.
Alternative workplaces: Stores in Recoleta and Belgrano.
Holidays: As determined by the company.
Special work dates: Saturdays in December (after December 10), Christmas Eve (December 24), New Year’s Eve (December 31), and the Saturday before Father’s Day (mid-June).
Salary under the Retail Collective Agreement, Administrative Category A
