A prominent supermarket in the city of Paso de los Libres is seeking a Procurement Manager with solid experience in supermarkets or retail chains, aiming to professionalize the department and lead the company’s procurement strategy. The position targets candidates with strong negotiation skills, strategic commercial vision, and leadership capabilities for comprehensive procurement process management. Responsibilities: Design and implement the procurement strategy aligned with commercial objectives. Manage efficient product sourcing, ensuring quality, variety, and profitability. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and wholesalers, prioritizing direct agreements. Lead and develop the procurement team, assigning tasks and setting priorities. Conduct cost, margin, product turnover analyses and generate reports. Evaluate and select new suppliers, ensuring a reliable network. Coordinate activities with other key departments (logistics, sales, administration). Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations. Requirements: Completed university degree: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields (mandatory). Minimum 3 years’ verifiable experience in similar roles, preferably in supermarkets, wholesale distributors, or retail chains. Outstanding negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Analytical profile, results-oriented, with strategic business vision. Proficiency in management and analytical software tools (advanced Excel, ERP systems, etc.). Employment Conditions: On-site, full-time employment. Working hours: Monday to Friday during business hours + Saturday mornings. Workplace: Paso de los Libres, Corrientes.
