Develop placement solutions for complex client needs. **Company:** ------------ Marsh **Description:** ---------------- Marsh is seeking a talented **Property Placement Manager** to join our **Placement** team based in *Buenos Aires*. This is a *hybrid role* requiring at least three days per week in the office. **You will be responsible for:** * Advising, guiding, and overseeing group performance and management; coordinating team workload; and ensuring appropriate staffing to meet client needs. * Formulating strategy by leveraging your expertise in Property risks, industry knowledge, and insurer relationships to develop placement solutions that meet clients’ most complex needs. * Designing go-to-market strategy, advocating for the value of the placement function, and participating in service pricing as appropriate. * Designing “Tailor\-Made” coverage and obtaining quotations. * Engaging with the reinsurance market. * Working collaboratively with commercial and reinsurance teams to support client retention and new business generation. * Overseeing and being accountable for Property risk placement. * Driving and building relationships to deliver comprehensive client service. * Maintaining a detailed understanding of evolving insurance and risk management market conditions, and informing commercial teams and/or clients about key developments affecting various products/coverages. **What you need to have:** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree (or related field). * Strong and relevant experience (\+10\-15 years) in ***Property Underwriting/Placement***, preferably within a brokerage or insurance company. * Preferably, knowledge of the reinsurance market. * Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels, both in English and Spanish. * Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to propose mutually beneficial solutions. * Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. * Results-oriented. * Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels. * Intermediate\-advanced English proficiency. * Strong negotiation and influencing skills. * Experience managing people is highly desirable. * Skills to create, develop, and maintain business relationships across diverse functions and clients. **Why join our team:** * We help you unlock your full potential through professional growth opportunities, meaningful and purpose-driven work, and leaders who support you along the way. * We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can collaborate with talented colleagues to create innovative solutions and make an impact on colleagues, clients, and communities. * Our global scale and presence enable us to offer a wide range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your wellbeing.
