Job Summary: We are seeking a JUNIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT specialist to provide technical assistance in classrooms, meeting/team rooms, and online, ensuring proper audiovisual functionality and connectivity. Schedule: Service is provided on-demand Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 20:00, Saturdays from 7:30 to 16:30; at the DOT location, service hours are from 17:30 to 22:00. Staff assigned to DOT on a given day do not attend Pilar the following day. Work Location: Derqui, Pilar / Nuñez Attractive benefits are offered, as detailed at the end of this posting. · REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In Classrooms  - Powering on/off podium PCs and mini-PCs. - Powering on/off imaging equipment (projectors, TV monitors/reference displays, accessories). - Powering on, verifying, and launching the videoconferencing system (when requested for hybrid classes or online guests); powering off the system after the event concludes. - Verifying audiovisual functionality and confirming presence of required accessories for proper class delivery. - Installing microphone systems (lapel, headset, or handheld) upon request; removing equipment upon completion of the event or fulfillment of the request. - Assisting the instructor or guest in connecting their laptop to the podium prior to class commencement. - Providing on-site technical assistance on-demand throughout the entire event.  In Meeting/Team Rooms  - Verifying presence of remote controls for LED TVs; updating LED TV operating systems. - Installing and logging in requested laptops for team work; uploading files for team activities; verifying proper functionality and connection to LED TVs in team rooms. Upon event conclusion, collecting laptops and storing them in the warehouse. - Installing LED TVs, webcams, and accessories in meeting rooms; removing and storing equipment upon event conclusion or fulfillment of the request. - Providing on-site technical assistance on-demand throughout the entire event.  Online  - Technical coordination of virtual classes (Zoom): - Opening and closing Zoom sessions for online classes. - Configuring and setting up static and dynamic equipment. - Managing the waiting room and participant entry. - Performing continuous active moderation of connected students (muting open microphones, hiding inappropriate cameras). - Cloud-based class recording. - Managing breakout rooms and providing real-time support during their use. - Playing institutional welcome videos during the first class of each program; providing background music during breaks. - Providing real-time technical assistance to instructors, secretaries, and participants (audio, video, connectivity, etc.). - Simultaneous moderation of multiple sessions. - Flexibility to cover classes across various time slots or special events.  Other Duties  - Powering on/off lights in the Master Snack area; verifying proper functionality. - Installing microphones and/or laptops in the Master Snack area per demand. - In auditoriums, depending on the event: powering on, operating audio consoles, installing microphones, operating video equipment; providing full-event assistance and client advisory; powering off equipment and removing microphones. - Organizing and maintaining warehouse order. - Repairing cables—both electrical power cords and audio cables. - Assisting the Operations team with various tasks.  DOT Tasks: - Powering on/off podium PCs. - Powering on/off imaging equipment (projectors, TV monitors/reference displays, accessories). - Verifying audiovisual functionality and confirming presence of required accessories for proper class delivery. - Assisting the instructor or guest in connecting their laptop to the podium prior to class commencement. - Providing on-site technical assistance on-demand throughout the entire event.
