In this position, you will manage the transfer of structured and unstructured data from legacy or third\-party systems into secure AWS environments, ensuring the highest levels of data quality, system performance, and compliance at every step. **Responsibilities** * Develop and execute migration plans specifically for AWS\-based solutions * Move data from on\-premise, third\-party, or legacy cloud systems into AWS platforms * Utilize AWS tools such as AWS DMS, AWS DataSync, S3 Transfer Acceleration, and Snow family devices to streamline migration activities * Conduct database migrations to RDS and Aurora with minimal downtime * Validate the integrity, consistency, and performance of data and systems after migration * Set up and manage data replication, backup, and rollback strategies to protect information * Improve migration workflows for greater efficiency, reliability, and cost savings * Work in partnership with AWS professionals, architects, and application teams throughout the migration process * Create detailed documentation, including migration plans, runbooks, and operational guides * Support teams after migration and share expertise through knowledge transfer **Requirements** * At least 3 years of experience in data migration or data engineering positions * Direct experience with AWS services for data migration and management * Skilled in using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for transferring data between environments * Experience with AWS DataSync to automate and speed up data transfers * Understanding of S3 Transfer Acceleration for handling large data uploads to Amazon S3 * Familiarity with Snow family devices for secure, physical data transfers to AWS * Demonstrated success in migrating databases to Amazon RDS and Aurora with minimal impact * Strong English communication skills for clear documentation and effective teamwork
