We partner with top founders from networks like 8VC and Action Capitals — experienced operators with real distribution, real funding, and real problems to solve. **The Role** ============ We're looking for a Chief of Staff — a product\-forward builder with founder\-level experience who can operate as an extension of our CEO. This person will lead client engagements end\-to\-end: from the initial SWAT phase (embedding with the founder, mapping the landscape, identifying the fastest path to value) through long\-term execution with a custom team they assemble and direct. You'll own 3–4 simultaneous engagements, working directly with experienced founders and CEOs to understand their vision, connect dots with market data and trends, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship products that generate real outcomes \& value. You need to impress founders, understand the problems they're solving, contribute meaningfully to strategy, and then determine the team structure to execute. You're not filling a seat, you're running a pod. PMF \- even better: product\-market\-model\-channel\-fit \- is not something you have to Google or even think about; it's something you've personally experienced. It's something that comes natural to you when thinking about problems, opportunities, solutions, products. **Key Responsibilities** ======================== * Own 3–4 client engagements simultaneously, serving as the strategic partner each founder works with directly * Lead SWAT phases: embed with founders, map product and business landscape, and define the fastest path to shipped value * Assemble and lead custom teams (engineers, designers, PMs, project managers) tailored to each client's needs * Conduct founder\-level conversations about business strategy and translate them into product architecture, backlogs, and shipped outcomes * Connect dots between market trends, data, and founder vision to identify opportunities and make senior strategy and product recommendations * Direct AI\-native engineering workflows (Claude Code, agentic workflows, frontier models) and coach teams on AI co\-creation * Continuously evaluate whether what's being built is generating real user value — and course\-correct when it's not * Identify new product opportunities and engagements that could scale into standalone ventures **Requirements** ================ * Founded and shipped at least one company (fundraising, building, selling, pivots — ideally an exit) * Experience wearing multiple hats: CEO, CTO, product lead, or similar across engineering, design, product, and go\-to\-market * Technical proficiency to direct AI\-native engineering and strategic ability to challenge CEO\-level assumptions on what to build and why * Systems thinker: able to hold product, market, channel, and business model simultaneously and make fast decisions * High EQ: able to build trust quickly with founders, read a room, and give hard feedback without breaking relationships * Strong cultural fluency in US tech and startup ecosystems, with experience navigating American business environments * Based in Latin America **Nice to Have** ================ * Previous experience in venture studios, agency leadership, or multi\-client consulting environments * Track record of successful exits or venture\-backed company building * Experience coaching or mentoring product and engineering teams * Exposure to U.S. startup ecosystem and multicultural, distributed teams **What We Offer** ================= * Competitive base salary plus profit sharing on the engagements you lead * 100% remote work within LATAM * Access to Katapult's full roster of engineers, designers, PMs, and world\-class fractional experts * Build your own product ideas using Katapult's talent and infrastructure at cost * A real path to venture: spin out the right idea as a company with Katapult's backing * World\-class deal flow working alongside top founders from 8VC and Action Capitals networks * 15 days PTO per year, country\-specific holidays, and personal days * Direct collaboration with Katapult's founder and leadership team **Important Note** ================== This is not a traditional job.
