Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with experience in AWS and architectural design to join the Transactional Risk team, focused on performance, traceability, and observability. We are looking for a **Senior Java Engineer** with solid experience across the stack, who has performed **AWS configurations**, and possesses strong expertise in **architectural design** using best practices. **TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:** ###### **Mandatory:** * 5\+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot in high-demand environments. * 5\+ years of experience working with microservices. * 3\+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, performing configurations (EKS, SQS, SNS, among others). * Proven experience working on **real-time decision systems.** * Solid experience in performance optimization (profiling, concurrency, tuning). * Advanced proficiency with AI tools for assisted development (Copilot, Codex or similar). * Strong experience in architectural design (Clean / Hexagonal / design principles). ###### **Desirable** * Experience with Serverless solutions using CloudFormation, SAM, or Serverless Framework. * Experience collaborating with Data teams for consuming ML models. * Experience in fintech / banking industry. ###### **Soft Skills** * High level of autonomy in making decisions within the role. * Strong curiosity and openness to continuous learning. * Strong commitment to teamwork and active participation in meetings. * Quality- and continuous improvement-oriented mindset. * Excellent communication skills. * Outstanding proactivity and initiative to propose ideas and solutions. ##### **OFFERING:** * Salary range: between 5\.5 and 7M ARS gross monthly, negotiable. * Employment type: Contractor ARS / Employment relationship. * Contract duration: Indefinite term. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. * Work modality: Hybrid. * Work arrangement: For candidates residing in CABA/AMBA or Córdoba Capital; requires attending the office once per week. * Office locations: Chacarita (CABA) or Casa Naranja (Córdoba Capital). ##### **ROLE DESCRIPTION** The **Transactional Risk** team is responsible for real-time fraud decisions (150 TPS, \~300ms), and for the hybrid architecture (sync \+ events).
