What will your responsibilities be? * Serve as the team’s Java technical reference: design decisions, technical reviews, and standards alignment. * Design and develop backend services in Java/Spring Boot (REST APIs, integration, persistence, security). * Define and implement development patterns and standards: Clean Code, SOLID, layered/hexagonal architecture, conventions, and guidelines. * Establish and reinforce a culture of quality and efficiency: rigorous code reviews, continuous refactoring, reduction of technical debt. * Design/strengthen the testing strategy: unit tests, integration tests, Testcontainers (desirable), contract testing (desirable). * Participate in advanced troubleshooting: performance analysis, observability, root cause analysis (RCA), and improvement proposals. * Collaborate with DevOps on Docker and CI/CD (GitLab), ensuring robust, reproducible pipelines with quality gates. * Actively contribute to the Scrum framework: refinements, definition of technical DoR/DoD, continuous improvement, technical mentoring. What do we require from you? * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 7+ years of backend development experience with Java in production environments. * 3–5+ years with Spring Boot (Spring ecosystem: MVC/Web, Data JPA, Security, Actuator). * Proficiency in best practices: Clean Code, SOLID, refactoring, design principles, backend design patterns. * Practical experience with code reviews, standards definition, and technical mentoring (tech lead or reference role). * Intermediate/Advanced English language proficiency.
