Position Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Purchasing Officer for an agribusiness company, responsible for executing operational purchases, managing purchase requests, negotiating with suppliers, and proposing improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute operational purchases and coordinate with internal units. 2. Negotiate purchasing terms and explore market alternatives. 3. Propose improvements to optimize the area's operational workflow. At Consultores de Empresas, we are looking for an Administrative Purchasing Officer to join a leading agribusiness company. · Responsibilities: - Execute operational purchases of inputs, coordinating with various units and following departmental guidelines. - Process purchase requests from all departments, managing priorities to ensure operational continuity. - Prepare clear and complete purchase orders aligned with operational requirements. - Maintain consistent and effective communication with suppliers. - Negotiate purchasing terms (prices, delivery schedules, payment methods) within established criteria. - Identify, analyze, and compare suppliers and market alternatives, providing information to support decision-making. - Track purchase orders: verify delivery timelines, input quality, and agreed-upon conditions, reporting deviations or incidents. - Record and update purchasing information in spreadsheets and/or systems, ensuring data organization and accurate information flow. - Manage databases of inputs, prices, and suppliers to facilitate control and information retrieval. - Propose improvements to optimize the area's operational workflow. · Mandatory Requirements: - Prior experience in administrative purchasing tasks. - Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with management systems (Synnagro preferred). - Residence near the workplace and personal transportation.
