Job Summary: We are seeking a Python Tech Lead to technically lead the development of a Virtual Wallet platform, building high-quality products in demanding environments. Key Highlights: 1. Autonomy to propose improvements and make technical decisions **Tech Lead Python – FastAPI / Microservices (Remote) \| Virtual Wallet** Remote · Preferably CABA/GBA (100% remote for interior candidates) Monotributo Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 hrs · Occasional in-person attendance (~1 time/week when required by the project) **Mission** Technically lead the development of a next-generation Virtual Wallet platform within a digital technology and development company delivering projects across the banking and fintech ecosystem. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to building high-quality products in highly demanding and highly available environments. **Your Responsibilities** * Technically lead a team of Python developers * Actively participate in architecture design and technical decision-making for the project * Develop critical features using Python and FastAPI * Coordinate tasks, conduct code reviews, and support the team’s technical growth * Ensure software quality through sound engineering practices * Collaborate with product and business teams on functional definitions * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence * Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards **Requirements** * 6+ years of experience developing with **Python** * 2+ years leading technical teams or serving as a Tech Lead * Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming * Experience with **FastAPI** and **SQLAlchemy** * Excellent command of robust, versioned, and well-documented REST APIs * Experience designing microservice or decoupled service architectures * Advanced knowledge of **PostgreSQL** and relational modeling * Experience with **Docker** and containerized environments * Advanced Git and collaborative workflow proficiency * Experience integrating external services via APIs * Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, Roles and Permissions) * Experience implementing unit and integration tests * Strong grasp of security best practices, secret management, and observability **Bonus Points** * Experience in banking, fintech, virtual wallet, or transactional system projects * Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Queue, or Celery * Asynchronous processing and scheduled jobs * Observability (logs, metrics, tracing, and monitoring) * Experience working with agile methodologies **Work Modality** * Remote * Availability for in-person meetings when required by the project (~1 time per week) * Preferably CABA or GBA — candidates from interior regions: 100% remote **Why This Role Is Right For You** * You will lead the development of a next-generation Virtual Wallet * You will participate in a strategic financial sector project * You will have autonomy to propose improvements and make technical decisions * You will join an excellent work environment with constant technological challenges * You will have opportunities for professional growth and leadership within the company **How to Apply** * If this is for you, apply right here! * If not for you, share it with your colleagues!
