Apply now » **Date:** Oct 25, 2025 **Location:** Argentina, Buenos Air **Company:** deloittemx As part of the PMO team at Deloitte, you will be responsible for coordinating regional tax projects, engaging with clients to develop management plans based on defined scope, overseeing their execution, monitoring project finances, and identifying new business opportunities with clients. The PMO will be responsible for providing solutions for strategic initiatives in S\-LATAM, which will operate as a vertically integrated business unit. This requires excellence in planning, tactical leadership, and execution across all geographies included in S\-LATAM. Operationally, you will be responsible for working with various teams to prepare project executive reports and presentations, managing incidents, generating action plans and risk mitigation strategies, following up on agreements with teams, specialists, and clients, keeping project-related obligations updated at all times, and providing technical support in project management tools. This role requires an expert in lean tools, mastery of the PMBOK, and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record leading and influencing multifunctional teams and projects. The PMO will be part of our regional leadership team, collaborating directly with business partners across each geography, and will hold responsibility for the success of key projects. The PMO must deliver high-quality project management services and develop project management capabilities across the region by leveraging world-class standards, guidelines, processes, tools, methodologies, and agile techniques. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise priority projects requiring high levels of functional integration, detailed process mapping, and tracking. * Demonstrate strong capabilities across all program management competencies, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control of complex strategic technical projects. * Manage projects from initial concept through final implementation, using effective management and tracking tools. * Business management: ability to identify new business opportunities and follow through to realize them. * Responsible for implementing projects across multiple geographies, coordinating and establishing service agreements with local teams to meet agreed quality, delivery, and efficiency standards with clients. * Responsible for helping define and deliver project scope and managing a decentralized project team. * Must effectively partner with multiple functional leaders to identify and mitigate cost and schedule risks. * Responsible for ensuring all project requirements are identified and properly translated to enable accurate project scope estimation. * Create and review project work plans, collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex issues, propose solutions, promptly remove obstacles, and escalate when necessary to meet schedules. * Drive adoption of PMO standards and practices to ensure consistent, efficient, and timely project execution. * Promote the use of technological tools with clients. * Identify new business opportunities, as well as document change controls and out-of-scope items that translate into new business. * Coordinate regional proposals and monitor their implementation across different S\-LATAM geographies, while participating in and managing coordination of these initiatives with the global team and LCSP. * Foster team accountability and ownership in execution to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting agreed quality standards. * Use financial data and information to conduct analyses and support fact-based project and business decisions. * Identify gaps in project management and develop, improve, and implement standards, guidelines, practices, processes, and templates for efficient project management. **Profile required to perform in this role:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, Finance, or Industrial Engineering. * More than 10 years of experience managing and directing projects, preferably in taxation, finance, economics, process mapping, and improvement. * Mandatory certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). * Proven experience in project implementation and business management. * Solid accounting and financial knowledge with demonstrable prior experience. * Minimum advanced level of English (571 TOEFL points or equivalent). * Proficiency in Office suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio. * Desirable knowledge of major ERPs (SAP, ORACLE, etc.). * Expertise in project management tools such as MS\-Project, Smartsheet, PowerBi, change management, risk management, risk log, etc. * Availability for full-time work and travel. * Work location: Buenos Aires. * Additional attributes: proactivity, results orientation, organization, self-management, analytical skills, assertive communication, business analysis, and business case development. * Experience leading complex programs or achieving aggressive business goals in short timeframes. **Learn about our area: PMO** At Deloitte's Tax PMO team, we aim to be essential specialists involved in tax projects, taking charge of coordination, support, and validation of activities within a project plan.
