You will solve supply chain issues that impact everyone: a smoke-free world. **Your 'day-to-day'...** * Comply with, promote, and foster adherence to standards, policies, and requirements established by PMI and Management Systems (Quality, EHS, OPEN\+ and any others the company defines for implementation). * Actively participate in defining actions, proposing improvements, and following up on topics defined for continuous improvement within areas and the aforementioned systems. * Ensure proper interpretation of quality requirements for products and processes, as well as generation and distribution of corresponding specifications to all involved personnel, in compliance with methods and frequencies required by PMI and/or the client. * Plan, coordinate, and supervise tasks of the team in charge, promoting collaboration and optimization of resources to ensure correct application and compliance with PMI and customer standards. * Verify that methods and frequencies used for sampling and testing are appropriate; based on this, distribute and coordinate tasks for operators under supervision to guarantee optimal resource utilization. * Ensure timely recording and availability of quality information generated by the department for all relevant stakeholders as required by PMI and/or the client. Prepare reports and/or analyses applicable to the department requested by internal and/or external clients. * Ensure that equipment, instruments, and measurement standards in the department are properly calibrated and set to guarantee reliability of measurements performed. Inform relevant parties when inputs, products, process variables, equipment, or other conditions are out of specification to prompt necessary adjustments. * Coordinate, supervise, and support projects, sampling activities, and additional information requests applicable to the department. * Propose improvements in existing work methods to optimize resource utilization. **Who we're looking for...** * Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar leadership roles (mandatory). * Knowledge or experience in Quality Management Systems or laboratory environments (desirable). * University technician (mandatory) or university studies in Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Chemistry degree, or related fields (desirable). * Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night). * Availability to work under cyclical or seasonal schedules (from February to September approximately 2026\). * Advanced Excel skills (mandatory). * Intermediate/advanced English (desirable). * We seek individuals with excellent communication and influencing skills, teamwork and leadership abilities, analytical skills, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders. **What we offer...** Our Success Lies In The Talented People Who Come To Work Every Day With A Purpose And A Desire To Improve.
