Diagnose and provide solutions to incidents involving production services. Be proactive and act promptly on alarms affecting business-critical services. Follow up on critical incidents, verifying resolution with the end user until the resolution process is complete. Execute control routines and production processes. Knowledge: * Basic TCP/IP protocol. * Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, network structure) and basic components (Routers, Switch, Hub) * DNS concepts. * Desirable: Load Balancer concepts (Layer4/Layer7) Linux/Unix: * Command line proficiency * VI editor usage * Interpretation of Shell Scripts * Desirable: Shell Script programming * Desirable: Knowledge of SUSE LINUX.
