




**Example of your day** You will attend to and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance activities according to scheduled planning, unforeseen events, or instructions from the Supervisor in an electrical power generation plant, working on equipment such as: vertical centrifugal water pumps, positive displacement pumps, lubrication systems, pneumatic systems, carbon steel and stainless steel piping, vacuum systems, water\-water and air\-water heat exchangers, turbines and generators, bearings, bearing housings. **How you will stand out** * Manage PTs to execute work orders from the maintenance plan and plant needs. Control the implementation of the LOTO procedure (equipment lockout/tagout). * Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed by the area supervisor. Ensure proper handover of updates to the person replacing you. * Complete and keep updated records of activities and the daily status of plant systems. * Lead emergency responses, making decisions under extreme conditions aimed at safeguarding people, the environment, and equipment. * Enforce safety and risk prevention procedures according to the safety, quality, and environmental standards established by the plant. Develop and update standard technical procedures for the plant. * Use appropriate PPE for each task. Respond to plant emergencies 24 hours a day, according to the assigned shift schedule. **What you bring** * Semi\-senior or senior Mechanical Technician with solid technical training. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles within the energy sector or in production processes involving highly complex equipment. * Applied technical knowledge, with the ability to interpret and resolve operational situations. * Intermediate level of English, necessary for reading technical documentation and communication with teams. * Intermediate proficiency in computer tools, facilitating task and report management. * Availability to travel both domestically and internationally, as service requirements demand. **About the team** **Who is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
