Production Programmer

Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Programmer for the metallurgical sector, focused on planning and coordinating production processes, including laser cutting, bending, and punching. Process optimization and interdepartmental coordination. Metallurgical sector | Laser cutting · Bending · Punching We are looking for a Production Programmer to join our team, with a focus on planning and coordinating metallurgical production processes. Main Responsibilities: Analyze project documentation (blueprints, BOMs, and committed deadlines). Interpret and work with blueprints in AutoCAD. Break down projects into parts, subassemblies, and production processes. Generate and release Production Orders (POs) per project. Schedule and sequence machines according to priorities and production capacity. Perform nesting to optimize sheet metal consumption and processing time. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Logistics departments. Reprogram production in response to scope changes or priority shifts. Ensure traceability and track production progress. Requirements: Technical training or Industrial Engineering degree (in progress or completed). Experience in the metallurgical industry and production programming. Knowledge of laser cutting, bending, and punching processes. AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory). Familiarity with ERP systems and intermediate/advanced Excel skills. Analytical, organized profile with ability to manage priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
