Location: Santa Cruz, AR Date: Sep 9, 2025 **Responsibilities:** * **Design and Management of Ventilation Systems:** Design and manage ventilation systems to ensure a continuous supply of fresh air in all mine work areas, guaranteeing optimal breathing conditions and worker safety. * **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Work closely with mine operations, safety, and planning teams to ensure that the design and implementation of ventilation systems comply with safety regulations and optimize operational efficiency. * **Contingency Planning:** Develop contingency plans for emergency situations, such as ventilation system failures or the presence of hazardous gas concentrations. * **Modeling and Updating:** Model and update ventilation systems based on field measurements. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with and control of safety, environmental, and quality standards and protocols throughout the entire process. * **Operational Coordination:** Coordinate with all operational areas the necessary tasks for the proper functioning of ventilation systems. **Requirements:** * Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in underground mining or consulting firms specialized in ventilation. * Knowledge of ventilation equipment and measurement instruments (anemometers, pitot tubes, gas probes, etc.). * Proficiency in English. * Professional degree in Mining Engineering. * Proficiency in mining software and modeling tools (Datamine, AutoCAD, Ventsim). **Desirable Competencies:** * Teamwork. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Proactivity. * Problem-solving ability. * Effective communication skills. * Adaptability and flexibility. **We Offer:** * A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
