At Possumus, we are looking for a Data Architect to join our Adoption team, where we drive the adoption of new Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies, as well as solutions from the Microsoft ecosystem. We seek someone with strategic vision and passion for designing scalable, secure, and business-oriented data architectures. Your Mission Design and lead data architectures that drive the adoption of advanced cloud technologies (Azure, Fabric, Power BI, etc.), working closely with the technical lead and the data engineering team. What You’ll Do Define and build scalable and secure data architectures on Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Design structures such as Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse, applying UCAD principles, Data Mesh, and Medallion schema. Design reusable semantic models for consumption in Power BI. Create and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines (Data Factory, Databricks, Dataflows Gen2). Implement CI/CD practices using Azure Pipelines or Fabric. Ensure data governance, security, and quality. Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists on the design of predictive models. Train and support teams in adopting Microsoft tools. Minimum Requirements What We Value in You • Strong experience in designing and architecting data solutions on Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric. • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL and Python. • Experience with Data Lakes, Lakehouse, Data Warehouses, and semantic models. • Knowledge of ETL/ELT, pipeline orchestration, and data modeling. • Experience in data governance, security, and data management. • Desirable: Experience with MLOps and AI applied to data. • Desirable: Certifications DP-203, DP-100, DP-600, PL-600 or equivalent. • Desirable: Knowledge of Power BI and Power Platform. Intermediate English proficiency would be a plus.
