You will lead FastAPI web services, background processing, data lake and medallion\-layer design, plus CI/CD and IaC with GitHub Actions, Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform; apply now **Responsibilities** * Supervise and strengthen Python backend services and background tasks implemented with FastAPI * Streamline data processing operations with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Lead the design and continuous improvement of data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Expand CI/CD frameworks and standards using GitHub Actions or equivalent tooling * Operate scalable deployments on Azure through Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Provision and maintain infrastructure using Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Promote effective use of GitHub Copilot and Claude Code across teams to boost delivery speed * Partner with cross\-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability outcomes * Tackle high\-impact engineering and architectural challenges aligned with organizational standards and trends * Own monitoring practices and drive timely issue resolution to protect overall system robustness **Requirements** * Extensive Python expertise (7\+ years) creating web services and managing background processes with FastAPI * At least 2 years of leadership responsibility in engineering or architecture roles * Advanced knowledge of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB and how to apply them effectively * Proficiency in architecting medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas for analytics\-ready data * Extensive experience scaling CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar platforms * Proven expertise with Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure SignalR * In\-depth understanding of infrastructure\-as\-code approaches, with advanced project delivery using Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Demonstrated capability to use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to enhance developer productivity * Fluent English skills at a C1 level (Advanced) for smooth communication in a multilingual environment **Nice to have** * Expertise with Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit for orchestration and transformation workflows * Knowledge of distributed processing concepts, async designs, and enterprise messaging patterns * Proficiency in Snowflake including streams, tasks, pipes, stored procedures, and time travel use cases * Competency in .NET web development supporting legacy front\-end solutions built in .NET Core * Skills using Angular or Next.js for web development
