This opportunity is located in Capital Federal, Argentina. **The Role** Wood is seeking a **Sr. Electrical Engineer** with over 5 years of experience. The position will be based in Capital Federal, Argentina. We are targeting a university-educated professional with good conversational English (desirable) and experience applying technical knowledge to perform tasks and produce a variety of engineering deliverables. **Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Expected:** * 5–8 years of experience in electrical facility design for the oil and gas industry; knowledge of medium-voltage line design and experience with ETAP and AutoCAD 2D software. * Valid professional engineering license. * University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. **Knowledge, Skills and Experience:** * Requires knowledge of related engineering principles and practices, as well as diversified training and experience in the field of activity. * Technically competent in own discipline; seeks continuous professional development of skills and knowledge in accordance with standards. * Competent user of software such as ETAP, AutoCAD. * Ability to understand and interpret technical information applicable to own engineering discipline. * Capable of applying theory in a practical context. * Competent in applying standards, processes, and procedures, and how they are used in work execution. * Functional knowledge of applicable codes and standards. * Functional level of competence in own discipline for execution of assigned tasks. * Functional knowledge of technological and industrial development within area of specialization. * Ability to create functional and cost-effective designs and processes meeting specific complex requirements with minimal support. * Regularly assigned responsibility for conceptual design. * Ability to guide and advise others. * Experienced user of relevant specialized engineering software. **Personal Attributes:** * Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; builds positive relationships with supervisors, subordinates, colleagues, and clients. * Enthusiastic, aware, and committed to continuous professional development.
