We connect consulting firms, life sciences companies, financial institutions, and corporate clients with vetted subject matter experts to support informed, strategic decisions. **The Role:** We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our growing team at IDR. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in driving talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring that IDR continues to be a high\-performing, inclusive, and compliant workplace across Puerto Rico. **Key Responsibilities:** **Talent Acquisition and Succession Planning** Ensure the right talent is acquired, managed, and developed within the organization using IDR’s systems and processes, including succession planning, in collaboration with line managers. **Compensation and Retention Strategy** Ensure compensation packages are designed to develop and retain key talent required for business performance and growth. **HR Planning and Budgeting** Participate in unit/functional budget planning discussions. Assist the Director of HR in translating business unit plans into HR strategic and operational plans, monitoring compliance, and initiating corrective measures when needed. **Workforce Planning and Performance Management** Support strategic and tactical workforce planning in line with the company’s business objectives. Guide team leads in effectively managing their teams and performance using IDR’s tools and processes to achieve unit goals and maintain high productivity. **Learning and Development** Identify learning gaps and communicate development needs to relevant teams. **Policy Compliance and Employee Relations** Ensure HR policies are adopted and followed. Advise managers on compliance, employee relations, and performance investigations. **HR Operations and Advisory** Coordinate execution and adherence to HR practices and policies. Serve as the subject matter expert on people\-related matters. **Stakeholder Engagement and Team Collaboration** Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as an active team member. Promote ownership and accountability for HR responsibilities across teams. **Information Security Compliance** Comply with information security policies as part of the HR function. **Qualifications and Skills:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. HR certification is preferred. **Experience:** 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Manager in a fast\-paced environment. Proven experience working with Puerto Rican labor law and compliance is required. **Communication Skills:** Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication and compliance with local documentation requirements. **Other Necessary Skills:** * Strong business acumen with an understanding of IDR’s financial and operational drivers. * Excellent consulting, coaching, and influencing skills to build credibility with senior leadership. * Proven ability in management and organizational development. * High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information. * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively. **What do we offer?** **Work Location**: On\-site Office **Job Type**: Full\-time **Office Location:** San Juan, Puerto Rico **Compensation \& Benefits:** **Compensation**: Competitive compensation package. **Healthcare:** Coverage as per company policy. **Leave:** 15 vacation days, 7 sick days, plus U.S. Federal Holidays. **Paid Time Off (PTO):** 1 additional floating day per year for personal use or mental health. **EEO \& Compliance Statement:** We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
